CHARLOTTE BRONTE SAMPLER

Alphabet sampler worked by Charlotte Bronte aged Six Years.

This is similar to those worked by her sisters Anne and Emily but Charlotte’s sampler is worked on even weave linen with a pink thread.

The original sampler is in very poor condition and is kept by the Bronte Parsonage Museum Howarth West Yorkshire.
